A Tea Party that Sets You Apart

A Tea Party that Sets You Apart

Tea time is a favourite excuse to enjoy a good brew with friends. Holding a tea party can be fun and creative too. As you have all the reasons to pull out your finest crockery sets, don a pretty dress, and indulge in some baked goods. Don’t forget to make your guest feel extra special with your classy demeanour. If you are thinking of holding a tea party, you should know what you should have.

Set Up The Table

Set the tone for what’s to come with an old lace table cloth with some crochet accents. Nothing is more sophisticated and mesmerising than a set of vintage-inspired tea set and a lovely lacy table cloth. A pretty table is a must to add pizzazz to your tea-time theme. Aromatic lilacs, fancy looking napkins, and a mish-mash of crockery lends an air of elegant charm.

Vintage Teacups and Eclectic Teapots

It’s time to visit your local antique store and shop some delicate teacup sets. However, we like the mixing of cups and pots for an eclectic style. The English rose motifs imprinted in those lovely teacups and the simple colour theme endeavour to bring an all-polished look. They can be excellent for dessert serving too! Strokes of green and a shabby chic cutwork crochet, peeking beneath those understated pieces serve the perfect tea-time decor.

Extravagant Blooms

Take out some time to smell the roses and feel the warmth of the aromatic candles. You don’t have to screw open the mason jars or grab vases for the lush arrangement. Get creative by putting lovely flowers in cake plates or teacups and wow your guests. We love the strings of pearls lying carelessly on the chic-so-chic lacy table too.

Sweet Tooth with Baked Goods

Include a batch of decorative cupcakes, savoury selection of finger sandwiches, yummilicious mini cookies, and tiny tarts to add something special on your high tea menu. Sandwiches are a must-have to interrupt your unhurried conversation. No matter what filling you choose, they will definitely add a tasty morsel. Cookies and brownies are more than just special to treat your sweet tooth. Pink layout with paper napkins and antique forks look welcoming.

The Exotic Flavours in Tea

Go hunting for teas that your guest will love and some they have never tried. Have some classics like English breakfast tea and earl grey to add your personal touch. Try a combination of chamomile, rosebuds, and citrus and surprise your friends. A cup of blooming organic tea will smell heavenly. Also include some caffeinated teas and adore aromatic teas to give them a variety in sip. They are conversation flavours too! Don’t forget to set out milk, honey, and colourful sugar cubes.

After hours of sipping and munching, you will surely want your guests to remember the treat. So, make lovely tea bag pouches to allow your guest to take home. And, let them remember the tasty flavours as they sip, savour, and relax.
