The Jam Sahib of Nawanagar Jaswantsinhji Vibhaji Jadeja (Jasaji Sahib) (1882 - 1906) Salute: 13 guns Print Number : 018 Although he was the younger son of Maharaja Sir Vibhaji Ranmalsinhji Jadeja, Maharaja Jam Sahib of Nawanagar, K.C.S.I., he was recognised as Heir Apparent by special dispensation of the Government of India and ascended the throne on the death of his father in 1895. He reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers, at Jamnaar, in 1903. He studied at the Rajkumar College, Rajkot. He attended the Coronation Durbar at Delhi in 1903 and received the Delhi Durbar gold medal that same year.
