The Raja of Dhar Maharaja Shrimant Sir Anandrao III Puar Sahib Bahadur (1844 - 1898) Salute: 15 guns Print Number : 007 He was the second son of Shrimant Yeshwantrao Dakurjirao Puar Bhau Sahib], by his second wife, but was adopted by his half brother on his deathbed, and succeeded him as Anandrao Yeshwantrao Raje Sahib Puar, III, in 1857.As the 9th Raja of Dhar, he reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age and was invested with full ruling powers in 1864. He attended the Imperial Durbar at Delhi, where he received the personal title of Maharaja Bahadur. He was conferred the K.C.S.I.in 1877 and the G.C.I.E. in 1883.
